With support from the Uganda Humanitarian Fund and through a coordinated approach, United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the World Food Programme (WFP), are working alongside partners and the Government of Uganda to prevent and treat malnutrition among refugees and host communities. With UNICEF support, the district local government carries out coordination for nutrition activities, through district nutrition coordination committees and oversees the teams conducting integrated nutrition outreaches in the communities in Nakivale Refugee settlement.
