JICA has been implementing "Project NINJA" in Jordan since June 2025 targeting startups developing businesses that contribute to solving social issues faced by particularly vulnerable groups (such as youth, women, refugees, and people with disabilities). Following recruitment, selection, and training (bootcamp) of startups, JICA selected 10 outstanding startups to implement their Proof of Concepts (PoC), which were conducted over a three-month period. On January 27, the 10 startups joined together in a final pitch event to present their business plans to global investors (including those from Japan) as well as a networking event.
