In this Speak4Nature seminar, former secondee Isabel Pinheiro de Paula Couto (UFSC, Brazil) presented on ecological justice in practice in the city and region of Florianópolis, detailing the work and projects of the sustainability program within the Legislative Assembly of Santa Catarina (ALESC). Speak4Nature is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie-funded staff exchange action of the European Commission, with the specific object of transferring both theoretical and empirical knowledge related to the techniques that assert the voice of non-human nature in social and legal instances.
