In this Speak4Nature talk, Isabel Pinheiro de Paula Couto (UFSC, Brazil) presents her research on ecocide in Brazil as a part of the workshop "The Political Implementation of Nature’s Inherent Value," which took place on 8–10 October 2024 in the main building of the Ludwig Maxmilian University, Munich. Speak4Nature is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie-funded staff exchange action of the European Commission, with the specific object of transferring both theoretical and empirical knowledge related to the techniques that assert the voice of non-human nature in social and legal instances.
