Talk to Loop, now locally hosted by RAAGSAN, a Somali, women-led social enterprise in the TPM sector, has been active in Somalia and Somaliland since 2022. Together the two organisations have created and rolled out a platform to help communities safely share feedback and report concerns about the aid they receive. So far they have received over 5,000 pieces of feedback and handled nearly 1,000 sensitive reports so far. Talk to Loop now produces monthly snapshots and quarterly deep-dives analyses based on the daily feedback from communities via this platform. These reports sit alongside the Somali CEA Taskforce aggregator model, which brings together feedback from over 15 organisations across Somalia and Somaliland. This data is analysed and shared openly to support wider learning and accountability. In this session, we’ll explore: What is the learning from this feedback? And how can a more locally owned, sustainable model to provide a collective service that keeps communities at the centre is possible?
