In this video we highlight the multiple linkages between social protection and social cohesion. Social protection policies have a great potential to promote social cohesion, and most of the evidence confirms it; however, when not adequately designed, they may even be deleterious. Through short videos, we share research-based insights into the relationship between social cohesion and issues such as inequality, urbanization, social protection, and conflict.
