While most turtle monitoring focuses on nesting beaches, our work in the Lakshadweep Islands examines Green turtles in their foraging grounds. These herbivores have an intricate relationship with seagrass meadows. We look at how turtle grazing pressure shapes the underwater landscape and what this link tells us about the health of the ecosystem.
