International Women’s Day: Strengthening Women’s Access to Justice through Democratic Participation

NDI, IFES and Solidarity Center's CSW70 panel on "Strengthening Women's Access to Justice through Democratic Participation" brought together women leaders from Tanzania, Pakistan and Sri Lanka to discuss how leveraging participation in democratic practices has increased access to justice for women and girls by promoting inclusive and equitable legal systems, eliminating discriminatory laws and practices, and addressing the structural barriers that continue to limit women’s participation.
