Have more people joined or left the Catholic Church around the world?

Christianity has experienced some of the largest losses due to religious switching of any faith group around the world. This is particularly the case for Catholicism which has lost more people than it’s gained in 21 of the 24 countries we analyzed around the world. People who have left Catholicism have tended to join Protestantism or disaffiliate from religion altogether. What are you seeing in your community? What other religious groups are you curious about?
