What are Americans' views on pronatalism?
Should the U.S. government encourage more people to have kids?
According to a Pew Research Center survey, a growing share of Americans says fewer people having children would negatively impact the country. Today, 53% hold this view, up 6 percentage points from last year.
At the same time, a majority of Americans say the federal government should not play a role in encouraging more people to have children.
