Millions of workers don’t have access to a retirement savings plan through their job—especially at small businesses. State-facilitated auto-IRA programs are designed to help. These programs let workers automatically save a portion of their paycheck into a retirement account, without employers needing to manage a plan. As more states adopt these programs, they’re expanding access and making it easier for more people to start saving for the future.
