Over two decades, street vendor Manoj Kumar Rai transforms from a roadside paan seller into a community leader fighting for the rights and dignity of India’s informal workers. After migrating from Bihar to Delhi with almost nothing, his struggle to secure a livelihood becomes part of a much larger movement for survival and recognition. This film is a product of the Solutions Storytelling Project, a Skoll Foundation-supported initiative from the Video Consortium that connects regional filmmakers and social innovators to produce solutions-focused short documentaries that catalyze positive change.
