The event is organized to acknowledge the 30 year anniversary of democracy support through Swedish political party organizations, initiated by the Government of Sweden in 1995. We will delve into topics such as what youth can bring into politics, how barriers to youth political participation and representation can be overcome, why less than three per cent of Members of Parliament are under 30, and the role of political parties’ youth wings in attracting and preparing young people for politics.
