GEO4CIVHIC EU project represents an example of applied sustainable energy for a green future. The project demonstrated easier to install and cost-effective geothermal energy solutions applied to civil and historical buildings through innovative drilling machines. It has been applied to the real demo site of Porta degli Angeli, a World Heritage site in Ferrara, Italy, under the supervision of the UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe. We had a chance to talk about Green Energy with two engineers, the Director of works, Massimiliano Finotti (FM project) and the supervisor of all the GEO4CIVHIC demo sites in Europe, Luc Pockele (RED Srl).
