The UK’s new HIV Action Plan is a major step forward. Bold investment, strong solutions, real hope. This £170 million commitment will save lives. We should be really proud; what began as a small Elton John AIDS Foundation pilot with opt-out testing in A&E departments proved what works. Continued investment removes stigma, reaches people earlier, and gets them onto lifesaving treatment faster. But we must also address other barriers. With expanded access to PrEP, we have the chance to strengthen our response and end this epidemic for good. We will keep pushing until everyone can get tested, access prevention, and stay in care.
