The 2025 Busan Global Partnership Forum convened during the Republic of Korea’s Global Development Partnership Week, just months after the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4), held in July in Seville. The eighth edition of the Forum brought together over 400 participants from government, civil society, private sector and international organisations, to advance the effectiveness agenda and implementation of the 2030 Agenda. Hosted by Republic of Korea, the Forum reaffirmed the Republic of Korea’s continued commitment to multilateralism and leadership in development co-operation, building on its legacy as host of the 2011 Busan High-Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness.
