Building bridges across generations in DR Congo | The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation

This video captures powerful moments from a transformative workshop in the Democratic Republic of Congo, organised by The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation with support from the United Nations Peacebuilding Fund (UNPBF). Bringing together young women leaders and experienced women activists, the workshop explored how feminist leadership and mentorship can strengthen movements and drive change. Through dialogue, shared experiences and collective learning, participants reimagined what intergenerational collaboration can look like in practice. From mentorship circles to shared commitments for action, the workshop created space not only for learning, but for connection, healing and lasting change. By challenging stereotypes and building solidarity across generations, the workshop highlights the power of feminist leadership in conflict-affected contexts. The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation works globally to support women’s rights in conflict-affected areas, including DR Congo, where women continue to lead change despite ongoing conflict and persistent barriers to women’s rights.
