Production Amid Disruption: Voices from SAFE project participants in Baalbek-Hermel
Different areas of #Lebanon have been deeply affected by recurrent conflict, displacement, and movement restrictions, disrupting livelihoods and placing pressure on local businesses and producers.
In the Bekaa and Baalbek-Hermel regions, we have worked alongside refugee and local communities in vulnerable conditions together with local partners in order to strengthen their self-reliance through sustainable livelihoods in the agri-food sector.
In the last weeks, we collected the voices of project participants whose activities were interrupted by the recent instability and who faced many challenges in sustaining their work, income, and daily lives.

Our project is in partnership with Mada Association and the Lebanese Observatory for Workers & Employees Rights المرصد اللبناني لحقوق العمال والموظفين , and funded by the European Regional Development and Protection Program RDPP Middle East (RDPP III) for Jordan and Lebanon.
