Completed Renters
Entrepreneurship shouldn’t feel like a debt trap.
In April 2022, we started something in Abuja that challenged a common assumption: that financing smallholder-focused assets is inherently high risk.
Today, the numbers tell a different story:
- 63 financed PAYG tractors
- 85,154 acres serviced
- 43,650 farmers reached
The idea was simple: if you align tractor payments with the harvest cycle, you don't just create borrowers, you create value for the entire ecosystem, turning tractor operators into entrepreneurs.
Why this matters for smallholder farmer communities and aspiring entrepreneurs:
* Zero Pressure: Repayments happen when the tractor is working, not when it’s sitting idle.
* True Resilience: It turns a massive capital expense into a manageable operating cost.
• Business Growth: As one owner put it, "The most beautiful aspect is the freedom it gives you to focus."
And that’s the whole point. When you align financing and payments with the harvest, you don't just give someone a machine, you give them the "headspace" to actually grow.
Combined with technical support and business training, we’re seeing a new class of rural entrepreneurs take off.
