為響應「地球一小時2025」活動，兩位來自本地陶藝創作平台「藝想」的陶藝創作人劉思奧和洪鳴謙，運用手捏技法，創作三組動物陶塑，刻畫四種非凡物種的特徵。思奧重點展現金錢龜的龜殼紋理，鳴謙精雕出卷羽鵜鶘的形態，羽毛捲曲飛揚、線條分明，還有二人合力創作棲息於鹿角珊瑚群的川紋蝴蝶魚，藉此加深大眾對大自然的了解。 In order to raise the public awareness of Earth Hour, two ceramists from St. James’ Creation, Lau Sze O and Hung Ming Him, have employed hand-building techniques to create three sets of animal sculptures inspired from four remarkable species. During the creating process, Sze O emphasised the patterned carapace of the Golden Coin Turtle’s figurine, while Ming Him was good at carving the intricate details, such as the curling feathers of Dalmatian Pelican. Both of them have also co-created a sculpture featuring Chevron Butterflyfish and Staghorn Corals together, which helps the public to understand more about the nature.
