A Young Mother’s Journey – Pregnancy, Premature Birth, and Recovery

Funded by: #euhumanitarianaid At just 19 years old, Ruba is a mother of six, including a newborn set of triplets. Throughout her pregnancies, she received vital medical care at the Reproductive and Sexual Health Clinic in Zaatari Camp, ensuring safe deliveries and postnatal support. During her latest pregnancy, she faced complications that led to an emergency referral for a premature birth. Her triplets were born at seven months and placed in incubators, while she returned to the camp for postpartum care, anemia treatment, and family planning counseling. With guidance from the clinic’s dedicated healthcare team, she is learning about breastfeeding, recovery, and future family planning to ensure a healthy future for her children. This essential healthcare is made possible through EU Humanitarian Aid, which also funds the Women & Girls Safe Space in Zaatari Camp. EU Humanitarian Aid is the kind donor that supports the Clinic as well as the Women & Girls Safe Space in Zaatari Camp. 🔹 #YoungMother #PrematureBirth #MaternalHealth
