When fuel prices rise, children pay the price. Every family needs fuel in their daily life. But when costs go up, it‘s children who lose the most. When costs go up, families are forced to choose between food, school expenses, and medicine. Some kids stop going to school. Some stop eating three meals a day. Some cannot afford medical care. We cannot let the fuel crisis become a children’s crisis. UNICEF is calling for three urgent actions to protect children and families: 🔵 Cash support must reach families with children and persons with disabilities 🔵 Support should be delivered quickly through existing government programmes 🔵 Funding that supports children like welfare, schools, and healthcare must be protected
