At 13, Mona lost her leg and her family in an airstrike. Her mother and sister are among more than 38,000 women and girls killed in Gaza between October 2023 and December 2025—an average of at least 47 women and girls killed every day. Meanwhile, Mona is one of 11,000 women and girls in #Gaza with sustained injuries so severe that they now face lifelong disabilities.
