Meet Nbéwu NDIAYE, a farmer in Senegal who is better protected against climate shocks thanks to an innovative parametric insurance solution developed by IBISA, a Luxembourg‑based InsurTech company. With support from the Business Partnership Facility (BPF), IBISA tested, adapted and deployed this solution in West Africa, helping farmers anticipate risks and recover more quickly from climate‑related events. Discover how a locally adapted innovation can strengthen resilience and support the livelihoods of thousands of farmers across Africa. The BPF is funded by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, and implemented by LuxDev, the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency, in partnership with the Ministry of the Economy, the Chamber of Commerce and Luxinnovation.
