B'more for Healthy Babies: Safe Sleep Is Up to All of Us
B’more for Healthy Babies is a Baltimore City Health Department–led initiative, in partnership with Family League of Baltimore and HealthCare Access Maryland, focused on reducing sleep-related infant deaths and supporting families across the city.
Since the program began in 2009, Baltimore has made significant progress through community-based services, system improvements, and public health communication.
Safe sleep saves lives. When families are supported, represented, and surrounded by care, it becomes more achievable. "Safe Sleep Is on Us All" reflects the shared responsibility of keeping babies safe and highlights the role of families, caregivers, and communities in supporting safe sleep practices.
This video was produced by the Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs (CCP), which partners with communities to develop evidence-based, culturally grounded health communication.
