This was the first Sub-Regional Community of Practice (CoP) Workshop in Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (PCVE) held 9-11 December 2025 in Nairobi, Kenya, organized by the IGAD Centre of Excellence for Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (ICEPCVE) with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), which brought together P/CVE practitioners from NCTCs, CSOs, FBOs, media and researchers with aim to enhance coordination, peer learning and multi-stakeholder collaboration.
