As part of the AUF2’s high-level plenary sessions, ICLEI Africa, UN-Habitat, UCLG Africa and C40 Cities co-convened the Local and Regional Governments Forum (LRGF) to promote multilevel governance and financing to better harness rapid urbanisation on the continent. The LRGF was designed to elevate the voices of Mayors and Governors as leaders who are shaping urban futures. 40 Mayors and urban leaders attended this plenary session.
