On Madagascar's northwestern coast, WWF supports communities' efforts to protect their natural heritage and forge a better future for themselves and their incredible home. Over the last 10 years, WWF has improved management of more than 20,000 hectares of mangroves, enhanced protection of more than 90,000 hectares and restored almost 4,000 hectares of mangroves in Madagascar.
