Dancing his way out of the hospital in Gaza
This is Saeed Abu Shawish, a 19-year-old student in Gaza. He was injured in an Israeli airstrike back in November 2025. He suffered several fractures and had to have his left leg amputated as a result of the airstrike, and underwent intensive rehabilitation with MSF. Witness the joyful moment he was discharged from MSF’s Al-Zawayda Field Hospital after regaining his mobility and independent movement.
