The Moana Voices series is an ongoing initiative by the Pacific Islands Forum Fisheries Agency (FFA) to amplify the voices of women in fisheries, highlighting their essential but often unseen roles – from compliance officers and inspectors to processors, policy advocates, and leaders. This latest (second) edition, launched in Niue during the 24th Annual Forum Fisheries Committee (FFC) Ministerial Meeting, was revived after a few year’s gap, continues that mission, to ensure women’s contributions are visible, valued and recognised.
