As #WUF13 prepares to open tomorrow in Baku, Azerbaijan, the UN-Habitat Executive Director welcomes the world to the world’s premier forum on sustainable urbanization. Across the venue, final preparations are underway to welcome more than 40,000 registered participants from over 180 countries – including governments, mayors, communities, researchers, financial institutions, civil society, volunteers and partners working together to advance one urgent global priority: adequate housing for all.
