The thirteenth session of the World Urban Forum #WUF13 opened in Baku, Azerbaijan, bringing together a record number of participants from around the world to advance dialogue and action on sustainable urban development. Under the theme Housing the World: Safe and Resilient Cities and Communities, governments, local leaders, civil society, businesses, and urban practitioners are exploring solutions to the global housing crisis and shaping a shared vision for more inclusive, sustainable cities.
