In August 2025, InterDis 2025 brought together 34 early-career scientists from around the world to dive deep into interdisciplinary marine science with 12 inspiring speakers. The focus of the week was integrated ecosystem assessment (IEA) as a practical example of how interdisciplinary approaches can support ecosystem-based management (EBM).
