The webinar drew on experiences from the Asian Preparedness Partnership, implemented across Cambodia, Laos, Philippines, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
โ๏ธParticipants gained practical insights into governance, coordination, and ownership mechanisms that support long-term localization, strengthen shared understanding of stakeholder roles and responsibilities, and generate lessons to inform future disaster risk management localization programming.
The webinar brought together government, civil society, private sector, regional actors, and donors to reflect on a decade of experience in advancing localization through multi-stakeholder partnerships.
Discussions explored pathways for sustaining and institutionalizing these partnerships within national disaster risk management systems, while identifying enabling factors, challenges, and trade-offs in moving beyond project-based approaches.
