During the ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ ๐จ๐ง โBhutan Landslide Risk Assessment Project Final Workshop: Advancing Risk-Informed and Climate-Resilient Infrastructure Planning,โ ๐๐ซ. ๐๐๐ง๐ณ๐ข๐ง, ๐๐ข๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ซ๐๐ฅ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ Department of Surface Transport, Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, highlighted the projectโs key accomplishments and the importance of expanding efforts to ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ง ๐ฅ๐๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ค ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ across Bhutan.
Supported by the World Bank Group through the Strengthening Risk Information for Disaster Resilience in Bhutan Program, and implemented by the Department of Surface Transport, Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport with technical support from Asian Disaster Preparedness Center - ADPC, the initiative enhanced national capacity to assess landslide hazards, apply scientific risk information in infrastructure development, and promote safer, climate-resilient planning for the future.
