The Strengthening Community-Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) in Lao PDR project (2024โ€“2025) is supported by The World Bank through the Climate Risk and Early Warning Systems (CREWS) initiative to strengthen disaster preparedness and resilience at the village level. Implemented with the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology and the Department of Social Welfare, the project receives technical support from ADPC and the Lao CSO network to empower communities as first responders to disaster risks.
