During the session, the ADPC team engaged in an insightful discussion with guest speaker ๐๐ซ. ๐๐๐๐ญ๐ ๐๐ข๐ซ๐ข - an international development practitioner with more than two decades of experience in environmental governance, climate resilience, and post-crisis recovery.
Dr. Giri shared reflections from her work across Asia, Africa, and Europe, including leadership roles with the United Nations Development Programme - UNDP and international NGOs.
With extensive field leadership in crisis-affected contexts from Afghanistan and Nepal to Sierra Leone and Timor-Leste, she brings deep insight into the intersection of humanitarian response and sustainable development.
Now teaching at Royal Roads University, Dr. Giri continues to mentor the next generation of disaster and crisis management professionals.
