CARE for South Asia: Project Completion and Dissemination Workshop in Pakistan. 17-18 June 2025
ADPC organized a two-day "Project Completion and Dissemination Workshop" in Islamabad, Pakistan, from 17-18 June 2025.
This project was instrumental in addressing the unique challenges faced by vulnerable communities in the region and promoting sustainable, region-specific solutions to address climate and disaster risks. The workshop served as a platform to showcase achievements, share
lessons learned, and explore opportunities for scaling up and sustaining impacts.
The workshop accomplished the following objectives:
- Showcased and disseminated key achievements of the CARE for South Asia project.
- Brought together key stakeholders, including governments, donors, innovators, and partners, to reflect on the project’s contribution to disaster preparedness and climate resilience in the country and region.
- Promoted cross-sectoral dialogue on climate adaptation priorities and
pathways.
- Discussed the sustainability of interventions and innovations, highlighting opportunities for further collaboration.
- Promoted the exchange of knowledge and learning from all the components under CARE for South Asia, including the iCARE innovation fund.
The workshop brought together a diverse group of delegates who were integral to the CARE project at various stages of its development and implementation. These attendees played crucial roles in driving the project's success and brought valuable insights based on their experiences. Additionally, representatives from partner organizations. This gathering aimed to foster networking, share best practices, and explore
innovative strategies for expanding the project's impact.
