This video recaps the high-level thematic event “The Future of Health Technology Innovation and Equity” held during the Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9), co-hosted by UNDP, on behalf of the Access and Delivery Partnership, and the Global Health Innovative Technology (GHIT) Fund. Held on 20 August 2025 in Yokohama, Japan – with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan – the event brought together global leaders and experts to chart a new path for inclusive innovation and equitable access to life-saving health technologies in Africa.
