Can institutionalizing evaluation in parliaments help reduce political divides? This webinar, co-hosted by IDEV, the African Parliamentarians’ Network on Development Evaluation, the Asian and Pacific Parliamentarians Forum for Evaluation, the Global Parliamentarians Forum for Evaluation, and the Asia Pacific Evaluation Association, explored how evidence-based decision-making can foster cross-party collaboration. Speakers from Africa, Asia and the Pacific including parliamentarians, academics and evaluators shared practical experiences on building an evaluation culture in parliaments to ensure policies reflect people’s real needs rather than political agendas.
