Meet Justina Onumah, a Spring 2026 CEGA Fellow completing her resident fellowship with the Global Poverty Research Lab at Northwestern University. Justina is a Principal Research Scientist and Head of the Agriculture, Medicine and Environment Division at CSIR-Science and Technology Policy Research Institute (CSIR-STEPRI) in Ghana, with research spanning innovation and development economics. She is also the founder of GirledUp Ghana, a nonprofit advancing girls’ leadership in STEM. She holds a PhD in Development Studies from the University of Ghana and brings a strong commitment to policy engagement and mentorship. Welcome to CEGA, Justina!
