Although the war has ended, families in northern #Syria continue to endure difficult living conditions and struggle to secure livelihoods. With the support of Swiss Solidarity and Solidar Suisse, we provided 222 small business grants to help women turn ideas into income. Following business training, participants received grants to start or expand their projects opening new doors for stability and self-reliance. Through networking events, women-led businesses are building connections with suppliers, customers, and other businesses strengthening the local economy. “Today, I am starting from this small table. I strive to develop and expand my project, and to be successful,” says Kalaweez who received a grant to start a photography business. Step by step, these projects will shape a hopeful future.
