This youth stage took place during the 2026 #AfricaDialogueSeries and discussed: Water and Sanitation for Peace, Energy, and Food Security. The discussion examined water as a catalyst for inclusive sustainable development, economic diversification, environmental stewardship, and durable peace. 60% of Africa's population is under the age of 25. By 2035, Africa is expected to add more young people to the workforce annually than the rest of the world. Africa's key sectors are heavily dependent on reliable water and sanitation.
