The Africa Dialogue Series (ADS) 2026 concludes on 29 May, with the High-Level Policy Dialogue discussing the theme “Water and Sanitation for Life: Harnessing Water Resources for the Africa we Want.” Hosted by the United Nations Office of the Special Adviser on Africa (OSAA), the African Union Permanent Observer Mission to the UN (AUPOM), and partners, the HLPD is an interactive, forward-looking platform for global leaders and experts to discuss actionable strategies to accelerate Africa's development. This segment of the ADS will feature the participation of United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, African Union Chairperson Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, United Nations Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohamed, the President of the UN General Assembly, Permanent Representatives, heads of UN entities, delegates, other senior officials and members of civil society organizations and youth representatives.
