This recorded session from the Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Weeks 2026 (HNPW 2026) in Geneva, titled "Scaling Energy Innovations in Emergencies: Emerging research and market insights" was held in collaboration with UNICEF Office of Innovation, the Global Platform for Action on Sustainable Energy in Displacement Settings, and Innovation Norway. The session aimed to shed light on the challenges and opportunities for scaling clean energy solutions. It also showcased emerging insights stemming from research commissioned by GCC to explore opportunities for innovative financing models, such as aggregator funds, that have the potential to catalyze scale of clean energy solutions in humanitarian contexts, reducing costs, lowering emissions, and decreasing long-term aid dependency.
