Urban Mobility & Climate Change Conference 2026 | Day 1 | Harvard CID
Urban Mobility and Climate Change Conference 2026 | Day 1
Harvard Kennedy School – March 5, 2026
This video features the full recording of Day 1 of the Urban Mobility and Climate Change Conference, held at the Harvard Kennedy School on March 5–6, 2026.
Hosted by the Harvard Center for International Development (CID) and co-hosted by the Salata Institute’s Urban Mobility and Climate Change Research Cluster and the Bloomberg Center for Cities at Harvard University, the conference brings together leading researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to explore solutions for sustainable, resilient, and low-emission urban transportation systems.
As megacities continue to grow, transportation systems are evolving rapidly with major implications for climate change, public health, economic opportunity, and resilience to climate shocks. The conference focuses on research and policy innovations that can help cities improve mobility while reducing emissions and adapting to climate change.
