“It’s not so much to 'desify' these things, but use these things as jumping off points... These Western stories or these white stories, there are brown realities. The white fantasy is a brown reality,” Riz Ahmed said during a Q&A conversation after a screening of "Hamlet," which is a reimagined, bold, modern adaptation set within London’s elite South Asian community.
