Since 1918, APHA’s state and regional affiliates have stood alongside us in our mission to promote and protect the public’s health. Here in the Affiliate Affairs Department, we work to strengthen, support, and collaborate with our state and regional public health associations. 

There are 52 independent state and regional public health associations affiliated with APHA. Each has its own structures and policies but all work to implement APHA’s mission to build optimal, equitable health and well-being for all
