The Human Rights Spotlight Programme is a collaborative initiative led by Proforest and Imaflora, with support from the Bonsucro Impact Fund, Hershey’s, Nestlé, Barry Callebaut, ASR, and General Mills. These organisations have come together to co-create a best practice model - including tools, training, and guidance - for Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) in Brazil, with a specific focus on sugarcane operations and supply chains. Beyond setting a practical reference, the programme also catalyses collective action to address systemic human rights challenges across the sector.
