On this International Women’s Day, we reaffirm a principle central to Proforest: there are no truly sustainable supply chains if the rights of all women and girls are not fully respected. Women are at the foundation of many value chains, yet they are often invisible in decision-making and more exposed to violence, discrimination and precarious work.
